Fall asleep to the sound of a babbling brook and a view of the stars? You can do it in this beautiful nature house, close to Harz National Park. The private garden surrounding the cottage is completely fenced in and you can choose where to sit. You have a view of the surrounding hills of the Selketal valley. On the ground floor are the bathroom with luxury shower and the modern equipped kitchen (2-burner induction, dishwasher, refrigerator). Via the stairs you get to the sleeping area, where there is a comfortable double bed.
Nature and surroundings
In the middle of nature, in the valley of the Selke (famous for its rich biodiversity), stands this cute vacation home. From the house, on a dead-end street full of peace and quiet, you walk straight into the forest and the mountains. Right behind the house nature already begins: rooting tracks of wild boar are not to be missed. The bird concert is deafening. It is a short walk to the famous waterfall of the Selke. From the train station 100 m from the house, the steam train leaves here several times a day. The bus stop is 100 m from the house. As a guest you can use the bus network in the Harz for free. A short distance away, a visit to Quedlinburg, a beautiful UNESCO-protected city is a must. Also not to be missed is Stolberg, a town made up almost entirely of half-timbered houses. Also nearby: the Brocken, Falkestein Castle, hiking and biking routes galore.
