As soon as you drive into "our" forest, time immediately slows down a whole lot. The silence, the beautiful nature and the fresh forest air make it the perfect place to unwind. Going to bed with a view of the stars and waking up to the sound of the birds.... The cottage is equipped for a family: one bedroom with a nice double bed, one room with a luxurious bunk bed and one children's room with two cribs. Yet, speaking from experience, it is also very nice to come and enjoy the Ommen forest together or alone ;). The kitchen has everything you need (except a dishwasher), the renovated bathroom a nice rain shower and in the hall a separate toilet. From the couch in the cozy living room (with wood stove) you look out on the terrace and the fire pit. Nature and surroundings
You walk straight from the garden into the forest where you can walk and mountain bike. Ommen and its surroundings are known for its many hiking and cycling routes, forests, lakes, sand drifts Sahara and of course the beautiful river, De Vecht. There is a lovely outdoor pool in the center of Ommen and nearby an indoor pool so year-round swimming fun :) Ommen has a nice center with many cafes, restaurants, stores and of course the best ice cream shop in the country. Zwolle is the largest city in the neighborhood at 30 minutes by car.
