Rural cottage amidst forest and meadows. You will be woken by the singing of many birds and with some luck you will see pheasants in the large fenced garden. From the woods at the rear is occasionally a roe deer walk. Squirrels and woodpeckers are regular visitors to the peanut butter pot. In season, the call of the golden oriole can be heard. Walk your own forest path to drink your morning coffee in the sun. In the evening, start a fire in the outdoor stove or sit on the deck (with patio heater) and listen to the peace and quiet of the countryside. Away from all the hustle and bustle. This nature house is located in the back of a large yard on a country road with only local traffic. From the deck you look out on meadow with pollard willows, sometimes with ponies. A wonderful place for peace seekers, cyclists and walkers. Incl. final cleaning, bed-bath- and kitchen linen. Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in the Lethe, outlying area of Bellingwolde, on the border with Germany. A small walking and nature area with large yards, tree lines, meadows, fields and ditches. With more than forty species of songbirds. The kingfisher can also be seen here. Literally around the corner is the beautiful and quiet B.L.Tijdenskanaal, surrounded by trees on both sides. For nature lovers, bird watchers and nature photographers, the Lethe is an ideal place. Bellingwolde belongs to the municipality of Westerwolde, an undiscovered green pearl in the northeastern part of the Netherlands. The municipality has many hiking and biking opportunities. There are 40 beautiful hiking routes (WiW = Walking in Westerwolde) and about 100 bicycle junctions. On the doorstep are the two long-distance hiking trails: LAW 10 and 14. A canoe trip can be made on the meandering and beautiful Ruiten Aa or the Westerwoldse Aa. The historic, beautiful fortified village of Bourtange is just around the corner and the cozy city of Groningen just three quarters of an hour away.
