Our luxurious and cozy accommodation is surrounded by greenery, in rural North Brabant, near the famous "Maasheggen". The accommodation can be rented in its entirety by families and groups of friends, max 19 people. In the large garden with fireplace we have an animal pasture where our chickens, pigs and sheep scratch around. For extra relaxation you can book the sauna and jacuzzi as an option (can also be booked later). Layout: the central 10-person guesthouse has 5 comfortable bedrooms, a billiard room, and two saunas with 2 whirlpools. In the spacious and cozy living room with sitting area, large dining tables and a well-equipped kitchen, easily 20 people can dine, play games, chat. In addition, you have access to the large 9-person well-insulated safari lodge, which is heated with, among other things, a pellet stove. (a 2-person, a 3-person and a 4-person room with 2 bedstead bunk beds). From the veranda you can see the animal pasture.
Nature and surroundings
The residence is in the midst of farmland. You walk straight to the flowering hawthorn hedges in the Maasheggen: the oldest cultural landscape of the Netherlands. There is no area in Europe where nature, landscape, economy and culture are so visibly and long-term intertwined. The area is so unique that it is the only one in the Netherlands to have been awarded UNESCO Man & Biosphere status. Walking and cycling opportunities abound. Less than 12 km away are the Kraaijenbergse Plassen, a vast lake area of over 475 hectares of water and 200 hectares of nature. A wonderful place for water sports, beach recreation, hiking and cycling. At about the same distance, just across the border, is the Ketelwald. With an area of almost 9000 hectares, it forms a link with other nature reserves, such as Millingerwaard and Rijnuiterwaarden, Haterse Vennen, Maasduinen, Veluwe and Eifel.
