Where once stood an old Pipowagen in this detached piece of forest, you now find a modern chalet, with 2 bedrooms , suitable for 4 persons. The charm of this private property has been preserved, complete with forest paths and benches here and there, with beautiful views over the Brabant countryside. The residence is especially suitable for those seeking peace and quiet. The village of Schijf with small supermarket and Chinese / snack bar, is within walking distance.4 Km away is Rucphen, a larger village with 2 supermarkets and several restaurants. There is a DVD player with various films there are 3 bicycles. There is no WiFi. No TV connection.
Nature and surroundings
There are beautiful hiking and biking trails through the woods and heathland. The Belgian border is 6 km away.For children there are several playgrounds, (Ossekopke, Bosrust) a miniature golf place and forest pool Hoeven is nearby.Also the Pannehuske (on the Belgian border) is definitely worth, even if it is for a pancake or a delicious beer.There are also beautiful walks from there, including the Poetry Route of Henriette Roland Holst.
