Nature and surroundings
Our wagon (with private terrace) stands in the yard of our farmhouse between the fields with a beautiful panoramic view. The car is in our large garden with jacuzzi, it stands next to the car, this is to book for 50 euros per night. At 1.5 km lies Sloten the smallest historic town of Friesland, which is definitely worth a visit with its beautiful bastions, cozy terraces and a beautiful museum! At 2.5 km lies the Slotermeer, here you can swim. Also the IJsselmeer is nearby, go for example to the beach of Lemmer or visit the largest steam pumping station: the Woudagemaal. You can also enjoy cycling in the area, we have E-bikes for rent (25 euros per bike per day) Cycle eg to the beautiful Gaasterland, which lies along the IJsselmeer coast, beautiful with the beautiful towns of Workum, Stavoren and Hindelopen or visit the always lively Sneek or Joure. In short everything can be found here; city, forest and water. Come and enjoy in the beautiful south-west Friesland !!!
