Since 2015, I have lived in Ariège, in France's Midi-Pyrenees, in the ancient Cathar country. It is a true delight. It is wonderfully beautiful here. Since my love, who still lives mostly in the Netherlands, and I, also wish others to have a good time, we are happy that we can now welcome people in our own gîte. Our house is on the edge of a hamlet in the mountains where it is very low radiation. No direct reception. Ariège is truly beautiful. Beautiful high and low mountains, unspoiled nature, mountain lakes and waterfalls, special historical sites, medieval villages, nice markets, delicious cakes and much more. Well worth discovering. Our house, which includes the cottage, is located 22 km from the capital of the Ariège: Foix. Then 120 km below Toulouse and 120 above Andorra. You can fly to Blagnac/Toulouse. Daily flights. When you are here, I will be happy to tell you what we ourselves find worth doing and visiting.
