Since 2015, I have lived in Ariège, in France's Midi-Pyrenees, in the ancient Cathar country. It is a true delight. It is wonderfully beautiful here. Since my love, who still lives mostly in the Netherlands, and I, also wish others to have a good time, we are happy that we can now welcome people in our own gîte. Our house is on the edge of a hamlet in the mountains where it is very low radiation. No direct reception. We have installed cable connections throughout the cottage that are connected to our own live-box. - Are you or are you ready for a vacation? - Do you want to recover, recharge your batteries? - Do you need time for reflection? - Do you want to write a book or your (business) plan in peace and quiet? - Do you want to go hiking or biking in the mountains? - Do you want to do nothing? - Do you need an energetic massage - Or a good conversation with me? Nature and surroundings
Ariège is truly beautiful. Beautiful high and low mountains, unspoiled nature, mountain lakes and waterfalls, special historical sites, medieval villages, nice markets, delicious cakes and much more. Well worth discovering. Our house, which includes the cottage, is located 22 km from the capital of the Ariège: Foix. Then 120 km below Toulouse and 120 above Andorra. You can fly to Blagnac/Toulouse. Daily flights. When you are here, I will be happy to tell you what we ourselves find worth doing and visiting.
