A cozy cottage with the most beautiful view of Limburg over the Geul valley. You will be surprised how such a compact space can offer so much: bathroom, kitchenette, bedroom and a beautiful bright living room. Bedroom and living room have an open connection with stairs. Everything you need is there: good beds, coffeemaker, kettle, stock of tea, coffee, sugar. Refrigerator, ceramic hob, pans, cutlery etc. From the living room you have beautiful views. Outside you have access to 2 private terraces with seating areas. Great base for hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. Natijd you can relax in our lovely garden with seating. Maastricht, Aachen and Liege a stone's throw away. The Limburg Hill Country is awarded 5 stars!
Nature and surroundings
Vijlen is the highest AND the most beautiful mountain village in the Netherlands. Our house is located in the hamlet of Camerig, between the hills, meadows, hiking and mountain bike trails. The most famous hiking trail along the Geul and the most famous mountain bike trail steeply down (or up ...) run past our house. And 100 meters away is also the most famous ice cream shop in South Limburg! Walking and cycling is a pleasure and excellent restaurants are always nearby. The border triangle is nearby; trips to Vaals, Maastricht, Aachen and Liege are easy to do by bike, car or public transport. We have walking maps ready for you and are happy to make suggestions.
