This yurt is located in a beautiful spot on the grounds of Portugal Nature Lodge, a small-scale glamping with only 4 tents spread over more than an acre of land. Each tent has so much privacy and a beautiful view. The yurt is made in Mongolia traditionally painted. Inside you will find a lovely double bed with mosquito net, a dining table and a bench. At night it is very cozy and romantic inside with the lights on. But living here is the most you do outside, where you really sit in the countryside of Portugal, overlooking a green valley. Next to the tent, of course, is a shaded terrace with beautiful views and a hammock. The private bathroom is in a wooden house next to the tent, and there is a private outdoor kitchen where you can cook delicious food, make coffee and tea, and keep your drinks cool in the fridge. In between, you can cool off in the natural pool and enjoy this little paradise on a lounger.

This nature house is located in the Costa Vicentina e Sudoeste Alentejano Natural Park, as the crow flies 10 kilometers from the coast but because the natural river Mira runs between us and the coast it is a 25 kilometer drive to the nearest coastal town of Vila Nova de Milfontes. This is a beautiful drive that is never tedious. The property is covered with cork oaks, pine trees, wild strawberry trees (from which the national firewater medronho and aguardente is made), various types of cistus bushes, wild lavender and more natural species. It is located 800 meters from the authentic village of Troviscais, where there are 2 cafes where you can enjoy a snack and a drink and contemplate local life. PNL is surrounded by countryside and nature. From the lodge you can do the Rota Vicentina circular walk from the village through the hills to the river Mira. You can also hike along the beautiful rugged coast or the forested interior, here you won't find any high-rise buildings or big hotels yet. Only nature
