We rent our Retro caravan from 1974 with private shower and toilet built under the porch where you can also sit under when it rains or in the shade when it's hot. In the hammock under the apple trees you can just dream away. The caravan is completely self-sufficient, including a small refrigerator and 2 burner stove and all kitchen utensils. The inside is all Retro style! Immerse yourself in the 70's and go back in time, relax and enjoy the coziness. We have converted 1 sitting area into a fixed double bed of 1.60 by 2.00 meters. The dining area is still in the old style and, if necessary, can be converted into a small double bed of 1.15 by 2.00 meters. Wake up in the morning by the birds and take a dip in the lake. We like to meet people at our beautiful place, in the middle of nature, 2 minutes walk to the Paterswoldse lake. Sheet package and kitchen linen are included. Please make your own bed. Towels are for rent.
Nature and surroundings
We live on a houseboat in National Park De Drentsche Aa. Enjoy nature, rent a boat on the lake, fish or bike / walk to the beautiful nature reserve the Onlanden, on the south west side of the city of Groningen. If you walk the Pieterpad, you have come to the right place because you walk along our boat. We can tell a lot about this area which lies on the Hondsrug on the border of the province of Groningen and Drenthe. Near our accommodation are some nice restaurants where you can eat for a good price / quality! The hotel, 2 min away, offers a breakfast buffet! There is also a supermarket 1 km away On the bike you are within 15 minutes in the beautiful city of Groningen where there is always entertainment and lots of choice of entertainment venues; Groninger Museum, Martini Tower, the Forum, Theaters, pubs etc. In short, you will not quickly get bored here!
