Casetta Spoleke is a place for relax and sport in the nature, among the “small dolomites” of the Veneto pre-alps and close to the thermal village of Recoaro. The house is part of an ancient hamlet along the forest road. It has been completely renovated respecting its original wood and stones structure. It is composed by an entrance / living, kitchen, one double-bed room (plus foldable baby cot) and one room with two single beds (that can be joined), plus the bathroom. A studio room for relax or telework can also be supplied with an inflatable double-bed. Heating and hot water is by wood and pellet stoves (electric boiler), power is by a renewable sources provider. Water is from the original local source catchment then filtered and purified. The house can be reached along the dirt road on foot if you travel light (appr. 12 min. from the upper contrada) or in few minutes by car (small 4x4 needed). Or the house-managers can take you by car for the arrival and leaving (recommended).

Recoaro (20min walk) is renowned for its mineral water, that can still be tasted in the old thermal compound (currently under renovation) or at the external springs. Noble families from all Europe were visiting the therms and its beautiful “emerald valley”. The art-cities of Vicenza and Verona (with airport) are at about 1h15m by car. Venice (with airport) at about 2h. Train and bus transport is also available. Immerse yourself in this peaceful nature, choosing from reading a book in front of the wood fire or relax in the outside patio, or telework. Then hike, bike or climb, or even do paragliding and horse riding... plus local food and wine tasting of course! Trails just from the house door will lead you around the valley to hidden magic spots and up to the peaks of the small dolomites, including easy walks or via-ferrata, historical paths of WW1, or the memorial 'Tibetan' bridge. Kids will love exploring around, the water streams, the wild and farm animals, the accessible mountains.
