Location: "Pure nature" The climatic health resort of Kleinern is situated on a sun-facing terrace above the Wesebach valley, which is lined with wooded hills and features the certified hiking trails "Kellerwaldsteig" and "Urwaldsteig". The Kellerwald Edersee National Park has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011. There are 3 healing springs in the village: the Bathildisquelle spring, the village fountain and the mill fountain. In the village center you will find many things for your daily needs. A butcher's shop, Wesetal village store, hairdresser and a traditional inn with beer garden. For young and old there is the "Spicke" leisure facility with great equipment such as tower slides, raft pond, table tennis table, chess game, water treading facility, footpaths and much more. Between 1994 and 1996, an ecological village trail with 17 interesting stations was created. The history is explained with texts on metal signs placed throughout the village.
