This farmhouse dates back to 1907 and the back of the house was rebuilt in 2000 with conservation of old elements. This country house stands on a 2.4 ha property with several houses. The farmhouse is heated by underfloor heating and there is a wood stove for the cold days which gives the house a feeling of well-being. It is a real family or friends house, with enough space for a larger company, but also still cozy when you're just the two of you. Downstairs there are 3 bedrooms, two of which are single beds and a bathroom and a separate toilet, upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with double beds and a bathroom. The farmhouse is on an estate with other houses, but you have complete privacy and views of both forest and meadow. The tranquility is the first thing that strikes people, the birdsong is the main musical note. There are crystals lined up on the property that give the estate a gentle energy and an angel circle can be visited through the mowed paths.
Nature and surroundings
This place is a nice base for walks or bike rides in the forest behind it. A few steps from the house begins a beautiful forest with further on a heath. It is within cycling and walking distance of the charming village of Vorden, with its many stores and restaurants. The Pieterpad is 200 meters away and in the immediate vicinity of three of the eight castles (route.) The medieval town of Zutphen is definitely worth a visit. Just staying in this heavenly place will give you a sense of tranquility.
