You will find this chalet on our 9 acres of private natural land in the outskirts of Niebert. Here you will find a lot of privacy due to a location far from the road and at a good distance from our farmhouse. A unique place to enjoy silence and nature. The terrain is part of the coulisse landscape typical of the area and offers between the meadows, bushes / woods and orchards 2.5 km of private hiking / riding trails. In the meadows graze our Icelandic horses. Our cozy chalet is fully equipped. So you will find beds made and towels, kitchen linen and toilet paper are provided. There is a small dishwasher, WIFI and Netflix. At the chalet you will find a trampoline and a fire pit (wood is available for a fee).
Nature and surroundings
Our nature house is located in the municipality of Westerkwartier (GN) in the outskirts of Niebert/Nuis in a beautifully varied environment of grassland, fields, marsh heath and wooded banks, near the crossroads of Friesland, Groningen and Drenthe. In the vicinity is beautiful walking and cycling to the Iwema-Steenhuis or at Coendersborg estate. At 7.5 km you will find Landgoed Nienoord (site of 19th-century manor in Leek where Familiepark Nienoord, the National Carriage Museum and the Swimming Castle are located). For horse lovers, HJC riding school Tolbert is only 6 km away, and 12 km away you will find nature reserve Bakkeveense Duinen. Wellness resort de Waterlelie (Zevenhuizen) is 7 km away. You can rent a boat for a cruise 11 km away at the Leekstermeer or at National Park the Alde Feanen (34 km away). Accessible via the A7, 20-30 minutes from Drachten, Groningen or Leeuwarden. Bookings July and August minimum 7 days.
