A quiet, nice and spacious half of a former summer farmhouse from 1870, with its own front door. Downstairs is a spacious, bright , living room, bathroom (shower, sink and toilet) and simple kitchen (2 burner induction hob, microwave, mini-fridge). Through a loft ladder with handrail you reach the bedroom with a double bed (130 x 190cm with quality mattress). There is a sofa bed in the living room, which folds out into a comfortable bed (115 x 200cm). This cottage is therefore ideally suited for two people who like to be close to each other, or who prefer to sleep separately. The cottage is less suitable for small children because of the steep attic stairs. From the front door you enter a common yard. About 15 meters from the front door is a spacious fenced lawn with a table and two chairs for private use. Pets allowed in consultation. Also bookable together with a coaching program in nature. Nature and surroundings
Located in the middle of the Green Heart of the Netherlands, surrounded by meadows, water and silence. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and bird lovers. But also great for people who like to spend a few days working, writing, thinking or relaxing in peace. The Reeuwijkse Plassen are also nearby by bicycle. The house is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site the Lower Germanic Limes and directly on the long distance walk the Limes path (LAW16) and 3.5 km from the Pilgrim path (LAW 7). Despite the quiet, remote location, all cities in the Randstad are quickly accessible: The Hague (35km), Utrecht (30km), Rotterdam (30km) and Amsterdam (45km). It is 4km to Bodegraven NS-Station, from where there are regular trains to Leiden (22mins) and Utrecht (19mins). 35 min (40km) from Schiphol airport.
