Nature house in Hellenthal

The house is good for a stay with 6 guests, for rest and space up to 4 is ideal. The owner is a friendly man who is happy to help if needed. Despite him not speaking English we came a long way with our moderate German and hands and feet ;).The house itself is top,the only downsides were the incredibly blunt knives, this made cooking difficult. And the pillows on the beds were not comfortable in our opinion. Everything else is there, including a wonderful rain shower. We totally relaxed and enjoyed the surroundings and the Eifel national park which is nearby.A cottage to come back to again!

Het huis is goed voor een verblijf met 6 gasten, voor rust en ruimte is maximaal 4 ideaal. De eigenaar is een vriendelijke man die graag helpt indien nodig. Ondanks dat hij geen Engels sprak kwamen we een heel eind met ons matige Duits en handen en voeten ;).
De woning zelf is top,de enige minpunten waren de ontzettend botte messen, dit maakte het koken lastig. En de kussens op de bedden waren naar onze mening niet prettig. Verder is alles aanwezig, inclusief een heerlijke regendouche. Wij zijn helemaal tot rust gekomen en hebben genoten van de omgeving en het Eifel nationaal park dat vlakbij ligt.

Een huisje om nog eens naar terug te komen!

The house is on the edge of a small and quiet village. It is not a main road so there is virtually no traffic during the day and at night. The environment is natural and very quiet, you will find peace and quiet. You can walk from the house and enjoy the mountains and forest.

Het huis ligt aan de rand van een klein en rustig dorpje. Het is geen hoofdweg dus er is zo goed als geen verkeer overdag en in de nacht. De omgeving is natuurrijk en erg stil, je komt er helemaal tot rust. Je kan vanaf het huis heerlijk wandelen en genieten van de bergen en het bos.

The ground floor is spacious. The cottage has a wonderful shower. There is a fence around the terrace which also allowed the dogs to walk outside without being able to leave immediately. Friendly owner. Had a wonderful stay here. Only point for improvement is the climate in the cottage, we had the misfortune to be there in a week with 30 + degrees and then it is also very hot in the house. Otherwise a perfect stay, love to come back again!

De begane grond is ruim opgezet. Het huisje heeft een heerlijke douche. Om het terras staat een hek waardoor de honden ook lekker buiten konden lopen zonder direct weg te kunnen. Vriendelijke eigenaar. Heerlijk verblijf gehad hier. Enige verbeterpunt is het klimaat in het huisje, we hadden de pech er in een week met 30+ graden te zitten en dan wordt het in het huisje ook erg warm. Verder een perfect verblijf, kom er graag nog eens terug!

The cottage is in a very quiet area, on the outskirts of a village. Further traffic is barred from the cottage so there is only the occasional walker passing by. We were able to relax here. From the cottage you can go for lovely walks through wooded areas with quite a bit of altitude.

Het huisje staat in een zeer rustige omgeving, aan de rand van een dorpje. Vanaf het huisje wordt verder verkeer geweerd waardoor er slechts af en toe een enkele wandelaar langskomt. Wij hebben hier heerlijk kunnen ontspannen. Vanaf het huisje kun je direct heerlijke wandelingen maken door bosrijke omgeving met flink wat hoogtemeters.
