Come to Woerdense Verlaat, near the Nieuwkoop lakes, 200 m from the public road in the meadow stands this nature house made of biobased building materials. For the walls partially grass insulation and wool from our own sheep was used. The floors are made of recycled concrete with elephant grass. This saves 85% CO2 emissions. Solar water heaters on the roof provide hot water and floor heating! Waste water is treated in a helophyte filter. Finally, all cabins have a compost toilet and private shower. In order to reach the cabins with dry feet even when the weather is less beautiful, a path has been constructed with slatted floors. Experience the tranquility of nature and the countryside.
