Waking up to the birds, going out with binoculars and all, modern luxury in a small home. Enjoyment, that's what they call it. We welcome you to our cottage in Dalfsen! A small house with a beautiful history, in the outskirts of beautiful Dalfsen. In 2023 't Vogelhuisje was completely rebuilt, well insulated and made gasless. It is now fully equipped and has air conditioning (very nice in the hot summer months) and a Quooker for delicious tea! This nature house is attached to our farm, but has its own garden (with herbs), 2 private terraces and private parking. Not to mention, many birds know their way to the garden and terraces of 't Vogelhuisje! From the living room you have a good view of the garden and the drinking and bathing place of the birds, with behind it a view of the meadows. And if you walk down the driveway, you can walk straight through the meadows into nature.
Nature and surroundings
But also the wide surroundings are beautiful, so from 't Vogelhuisje we recommend you to go out. The bikes are waiting for you in the private barn. Bring our bird book, binoculars and picnic basket, and enjoy all the beauty the Vechtdal has to offer you. The cycling and walking routes will take you to the most beautiful places. The watchtower treats you to a magnificent view of the Vecht. With the ferry you can cross the Vecht towards Vilsteren. Ommen is within easy reach. On the way back you can eat out on the Vecht, before you return to 't Vogelhuisje and relax with a delicious glass of wine. These can be enjoyed on the sofa in front of the garden window, or on one of the two private terraces in the garden. In the evening don't forget to look up, because you can count the stars. Rested the next morning on your way to Hanseatic city Zwolle? This B&B is located between Zwolle (15km) and Ommen (10km), 4km from Dalfsen. The Overijsselse Vecht is within walking distance.
