This beautiful, very quiet, detached gite has a large fully fenced garden and has a garage for storage of bicycles or motorcycles. There are both shaded and sunny spots and the garden has a beautiful view over the hills of the Morvan. The layout of the house is as follows: downstairs: you enter via a staircase into the large kitchen with wood stove, dining table, open kitchen with 4 burner hob, oven, microwave and dishwasher. From the kitchen is access to the spacious living room with television and door to the garden. On the first floor there are two bedrooms each with a double bed (160x200 and 140x190) and two bathrooms with shower, sink, toilet and a washing machine. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. Upstairs there is a third toilet.
Nature and surroundings
The gite is located in natural park the Morvan at the end of a small dead end road. The cottage is very quiet with beautiful views over the hills. A larger town, Moulins Engilbert, is about 10 minutes drive away where you will find a supermarket, restaurants and a bakery. Nature, silence, tranquility, endless walks, beautiful villages, markets and flea markets combined with the Burgundian life! Even in winter it is lovely here, with luck there is snow and in the evening you can enjoy the comfortable gite by the wood stove. If you book a sheet package, towels are included and we make the beds. There are plenty of single and double (240x220) comforters available. We do not charge a cleaning fee if the gite is left as you found it. We ourselves live about 30 minutes away and depending on the season we have eggs, vegetables and fruit from our organic vegetable garden available!
