Casa do Lanço is part of a 25.000m2 vineyard property and is located in a transition zone between the laurel forest and the agricultural land of São Vicente. On the vine terraces we can observe the Tinta Negra and Verdelho grape varieties, which produce the famous Madeira Wine. The property is inserted in a group of houses where you will find several gardens with centennial trees, where a large oak tree with more than 250 years and several endemic species of the Laurissilva such as tis, vinháticos, barbusanos and laurel trees stand out. The house has a decoration with several details, in a fusion between classic and contemporary, that follows all the tradition of a family house. The house has a bedroom with two traditional style singles beds, with an access door to the outside, so you can wake up with a fantastic view to the backyard and gardens of the house...

The house is located in the northern part of the island, more precisely in Rosário, a parish in the municipality of São Vicente. As it is in a more isolated area, you will not find any kind of commerce around the property. Ten minutes by car from the village of São Vicente, you will find local shops, restaurants, supermarket and pharmacy. Near the house you have access to various levada and hiking trails, where you can take the opportunity to explore our fantastic island on foot. If you wish to find other places or activities, the city of Funchal is 45 minutes away by car.
