In a unique location in the woods near Hoekelum estate is this lovely vacation home. From the house you look through the large windows onto the green field where there is also a small pond. Here you really experience the outdoors; it is extra enjoyable on the covered terrace at the front of the house. In the vacation home there are two bedrooms both of which are equipped with two box springs; these can be used as two single beds or as a double bed. There is also a spacious shower with a separate toilet. The house is ideal for 4 people, but it is also possible to stay here with 6 people (from November 1) because the living room is equipped with a solid sofa bed for two people. From week 10 in 2024 it is also possible to use the wood-fired hot tub. You can optionally book this. The kitchen is equipped with an oven and dishwasher and there is a spacious dining table.
Nature and surroundings
This vacation home is a perfect base for hiking or biking through the woods or on the Ginkel Heath. Shorter walks are ideal in the adjacent Hoekelumse bos, but also for long distances here are several routes in the area possible. A visit to the sheepfold on the Ginkel Heath should certainly not be missed. Should you stay a little longer and want to explore the surrounding area, a visit to the riverbank area the Blue Room is also highly recommended. Here you can walk past wild horses and have beautiful views of the Lower Rhine River and the idyllic landscape. This is also a paradise for bird lovers. Of course, there are many more beautiful places to visit, such as the Gouda Mountain, where the center of the Netherlands is also located. For people with children, a visit to Ouwehands Dierenpark is worthwhile. And for the true nature lover, a visit to Park de Hoge Veluwe should not be missed.
