The Terra was planned by an architect and built in summer 2010 and is a trendy one-room house of approx. 22 m² with a beautiful wooden sun terrace and a huge garden on the edge of the forest. The house is particularly appealing to people who want to spend a lot of time outdoors and/or hiking, but are still looking for a stylish and self-sufficient place to stay at an attractive level. The Terra deliberately has no sauna, no whirlpool, no internet, no television and no telephone. It is a place of peace and relaxation. The house has a wood-burning stove and a 2000 square meter garden for the exclusive use of our vacation guests. The garden has a wonderful barbecue area. The house offers everything you need for a relaxing stay.
Nature and surroundings
The Terra vacation home is surrounded by 2000 square meters of garden. It is in a secluded location and the large garden borders a forest. It is very quiet. From the terrace you can see the church tower. The village of Berlingen has just under 200 inhabitants and there is a bus stop about 50 meters from the house. From there you can get to Gerolstein, for example. Gerolstein is the next larger town and is approx. 6 kilometers away. There are supermarkets and the famous Eifelsteig hiking trail. Berlingen is surrounded by nature and there are numerous hiking trails and viewing platforms. From 2024, the municipality of Gerolstein will introduce a tourist guest contribution of EUR 0.75 per overnight stay in Gerolsteiner Land in order to promote regional tourism and improve the quality of life. The guest contribution must be paid in cash on site and is exclusive of the accommodation price.
