This beautiful vacation home in Ommen can be booked all year round so you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings in any season. The center of Ommen is just three km away.The cozy vacation home of Het Varsenerveld is completely renovated and fully equipped. In the middle of Het Vechtdal you will find this delightful and authentic destination. With the green landscape and the rivers De Vecht and De Regge, this area is an ideal base for nature lovers. Even in the cooler autumn, winter and spring months you will be warm in our vacation home. The house is fully insulated and has underfloor heating. In addition, the nature house has a beautiful veranda facing south, where even in autumn or spring in the sun's rays is lovely.
Nature and surroundings
Varsenerveld is located in the Vecht valley, near Ommen, Dalfsen, Hardenberg and Zwolle. In beautiful Ommen there is plenty to do. For example, you can enjoy walking, cycling, canoeing, boating and swimming. There are also several interesting and fun museums and shopping cities nearby. Looking for a fine restaurant? Or do you want to get an ice cream with the kids? In Het Vechtdal around our vacation home there are extensive cycling routes. Start directly from our farm with a route, such as the Rondje Dalfsen - Ommen. This is a unique route where you will encounter two ferries and the weir at Vilsteren. A walk through the nature reserve called Varsenerveld / De Woest is definitely worthwhile. This is a piece of virgin heathland, where our ancestors helped to flatten the heathland to make fertile fields and pastures. Walking towards the nature reserve, you can see the traces of reclamation, ditches, birch trees, tufts of heather, fens and deer in the field
