Light-flooded and tastefully furnished vacation apartment on the top floor. From the apartment you can enjoy the view of the landscape and the starry sky through many skylights and large openings. The house is in a secluded location in the core zone of the Rhön biosphere reserve. The vacation apartment has a large living and dining room with an open, fully equipped kitchen and a double bed (180 cm). Through the completely open gable you can enjoy the direct view of the property with the large lime tree, the surrounding mountains (Eube / Pferdskopf) and, in clear weather, the starry sky. In the separate bedroom there is another double bed (160cm) and a desk with a view of the valley. The bathroom under the sloping roof is equipped with a shower, where you can shower with a view when the skylight is open. The kitchen has a ceramic hob with 4 hotplates and is fully equipped for cooking and eating.
Nature and surroundings
The property with its spacious open plot is situated in an idyllic outdoor location with a stream, fish pond, colorful flower meadows and close to the forest, in the middle of the Rhön biosphere reserve. From the apartment and from the outdoor area you can enjoy the unobstructed view of the Rhön mountains (including Pferdskopf). The Guckaisee can be reached on foot in 30 minutes. The former country school building was completely rebuilt and renovated in 2004. Shopping facilities are located in Poppenhausen approx. 2.5 km away. Dogs are welcome in the accommodation. They must be kept on a lead and are not allowed on beds or seating. Surcharge 30€ per stay. The sauna in the house (entrance floor) can be used for an extra charge.
