Nice cottage just a pity that the bathroom was relatively small compared to the rest and that it was downstairs. Because of this there was also no toilet upstairs which we find inconvenient. This was not apparent from the description of the cottage

Mooi huisje alleen jammer dat de badkamer relatief klein was ten opzichte van de rest en dat deze beneden was.
Hierdoor was er ook geen toilet boven en dat vinden wij lastig. Dit kwam niet naar voren uit de beschrijving van het huisje

Useful to know that there are two cottages on the same property. We were lucky to have the whole property to ourselves, but it is useful to check if the garden is private when you book, otherwise you will share the space with the guests from the other cottage.

Handig om te weten dat er twee huisjes op hetzelfde terrein staan. Wij hadden geluk dat we het hele terrein voor onszelf hadden, maar het is handig om even te checken of de tuin privé is als je boekt, want anders deel je de ruimte met de gasten uit het andere huisje.

What a great weekend we had in this cottage in Rohel with our two boxers! The owners were incredibly friendly, flexible and relaxed, and gave us great tips about the area. The cottage itself is modern and fully equipped (we only missed a SmartTV). The location is beautiful in a quiet neighborhood near the Tjeukemeer where you can take a nice walk (unfortunately dogs are not allowed off leash there). The absolute highlight was the huge, fenced garden where our dogs could run and play to their hearts content. All in all, a wonderful stay, especially thanks to the fantastic garden! Highly recommended for dog owners looking for a place where their four-legged friends can run and play safely. Good to know: The garden is fenced with a fence on three sides and a hedge on one side, which was perfect for our dogs, but if you have a dog who is an escape artist, the hedge may not be enough due to a few small openings at the bottom.

Wat een fijn weekend hebben we gehad in dit huisje in Rohel met onze twee boxers! De eigenaren waren ontzettend vriendelijk, flexibel en relaxed, en gaven ons leuke tips over de omgeving. Het huisje zelf is modern ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien (we misten alleen een SmartTV). De ligging is prachtig in een rustige wijk vlakbij het Tjeukemeer waar je mooi kunt wandelen (helaas mogen honden daar niet los). Het absolute hoogtepunt was de gigantische, omheinde tuin waar onze honden naar hartenlust konden rennen en spelen.

Al met al een heerlijk verblijf, vooral dankzij de fantastische tuin! Een aanrader voor hondenbezitters die op zoek zijn naar een plek waar hun viervoeters veilig kunnen rennen en spelen. Wel goed om te weten: De tuin is omheind met een hek aan drie zijden en een heg aan één kant, wat voor onze honden perfect was, maar heb je een hond die een ontsnappingskunstenaar is, dan is de heg wellicht niet voldoende door een paar kleine openingen aan de onderzijde.
