Surely our favorite place is the big windows you can sit in. Three we have. Two in the living area. One in the downstairs bedroom. As I'm sure you've already seen, we filled it with pillows. Because, it makes the windows as far as we're concerned. It's nice to settle down there with your favo novel. Or just lazing into the woods with your binoculars.The open kitchen is fully equipped. From a wine cabinet to a Nivona bean machine. So think espressos and cappuccinos with the latter. By the way, a nice detail about the kitchen is the U-shaped top. Perfect for displaying your plates or hanging out nicely. Then the bedrooms. Five of them we have one room with a double bed on the first floor. This as well as the other two double bedrooms upstairs have their own bathroom. The other two bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom.
Nature and surroundings
Often you think you are alone here with your company. Alas. Hares and deer everywhere. And if you haven't seen anything yet: don't be alarmed. The chances are very small that you will go home without having spotted game. From the terrace you will have a front row seat. From early morning until late at night. Just sit back and relax. Strong espresso with it or a dry white and you need little more. By the way, from the forest villa you can easily walk towards Ootmarsum. The art town of the east is a half-hour walk away. By the way, don't expect chain stores like Zara or Kruidvat here. We don't have those. We do have an Appie, cobblestone alleys, art galleries and fine terraces to perch on. By the way, let's not forget the nature reserves the Springendal, the Lutterzand and the Tankenberg. Hiking and cycling routes abound. They take you between the rye fields, along heath and sandy paths. A real nature house? We think so.
