On the border of Carinthia and Styria is the Almhut. In the Austrian way, an "urige" hut! It has the comforts of today, but the atmosphere of yesteryear. So you can cook on the old-fashioned tischherd with wood (which can also heat the hut well), or cook on electricity. The Almhut has a living/dining room with kitchen. In the living room you will find a sofa and a dining area as well as a simple kitchen. Heating can be by wood stove or on electricity. Then you will find the bathroom and another bedroom downstairs. The Alpine hut has a Jacuzzi with an amazing view of the surrounding mountains. A sauna hut (with a view) also belongs to the Almhut. In addition, a cozy garden, where you can sit and make a campfire.
Nature and surroundings
Located on the Hebalm at almost 1,400 meters altitude, directly on hiking trails. Within walking distance you will find the Hebalmsee where you can swim in the summer. Magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. In winter within walking distance of the cross-country trails and close to a small ski area (few minutes by car). In the immediate vicinity another 5 larger ski areas (approx. half an hour by car).

Jan-Lukas General rating:The house is a very simple wooden hut. Unfortunately, the hut is not really on its own. The next cottage is only a few meters away. The sauna can also be used by both cottages. The equipment of the cottage offers all necessary things. However, the towels provided were not enough for the number of people. The stove takes some getting used to, but works reliably once you get used to it. The cabin is very musical. The doors, beds and floor creak almost every time you move. On the other hand, the hut has a really rustic, natural and very romantic charm. The landlord was very friendly and helpful. He was very friendly and available for questions and special requests. All in all, we had a very relaxing vacation. We really liked the cottage with the view and surroundings and would highly recommend it.
Das Haus ist eine sehr einfache Holzhütte. Leider steht die Hütte nicht wirklich alleine. Das nächste Ferienhaus ist nur wenige Meter entfernt. Die Sauna kann auch von beiden Ferienhütten benutzt werden. Die Ausstattung der Hütte bietet alle notwendigen Dinge. Die Handtücher, die zur Verfügung stehen, waren allerdings für die Personenanzahl nicht genügend. Der Ofen ist zwar gewöhnungsbedürftig, tut seinen Dienst aber zuverlässig, wenn man sich einmal mit ihm angefreundet hat.
Die Hütte ist sehr musikalisch. Die Türen, Betten und der Boden knarren nahezu bei jeder Bewegung. Dafür hat die Hütte ein wirklich uriges, natürliches und sehr romantisches Charme.
Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bei Fragen und besonderen Wünschen stand er sehr freundlich zur Verfügung.
Alles in Allem hatten wir einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub. Die Hütte mit der Aussicht und Umgebung hat uns sehr gefallen und wir würden sie wärmstens empfehlen.Nature, peace & environment:The nature was fantastic. There were already many fascinating landscapes on the approach. The panorama from the hut is simply superb. You can hear the birds chirping in the morning. Simply wonderful!
