Our charming and cozy chalet is located on 500m² of land, on the restful, small-scale nature park 'De Krieckaert'. Outside the rustle of leaves and the chirping of birds you hear nothing else in this green oasis. The chalet is located at the nature reserve 'De Hoge Kempen' (The National Park of Belgium). A place of choice for hikers, cyclists and horse riders. The chalet is equipped with every comfort and has a fully equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher, electric oven and 4-burner induction hob), a bathroom with shower, separate toilet and a cozy sitting and dining area. At the front of the chalet you can sit cosily on the veranda and at the back, in the woodland garden, there is a spacious terrace. The garden is fenced off with sheep fence, so child and dog can walk around freely. A unique place where you can enjoy the tranquility in the middle of nature.
Nature and surroundings
Our chalet is located on the edge of the nature park and from the garden you walk directly into De Hoge Kempen. A nature reserve with endless hiking, biking and bridle paths. Rest and nature are paramount here. But also for a city visit or a day of shopping you have come to the right place. For example, Maastricht is only fifteen minutes away. Furthermore, there are beautiful historic places nearby such as Oud-Rekem, Tongeren and Valkenburg. For a simple snack and drink you can also visit the tavern at the park.
