Nature house in Holwert

2 kilometers outside the village of Holwerd stands this wellness vacation home amidst meadows on the Holwerter Vaart. In the garden is the jacuzzi which is warm and ready for use. The sauna and wood stove in the house are also ready for use. The house has its own parking and upon arrival we make sure the beds are made and towels are provided. You can check in and out yourself via the key box. In and around the house is everything to enjoy (including a trampoline). We live next door (but at such a distance that you can enjoy the peace and nature) and if there is anything you can always ask. The bedroom with double bed is on the ground floor. The other 2 bedrooms (each with 2x1 bed) are accessed via a staircase and have no closed door. The house is warmly decorated and also has a wood stove which can be used.

Staying in this house and doing nothing is already a nice stay with the sauna and jacuzzi but walking and cycling are beautiful routes in the area. Bicycles can be rented(the bike rental usually delivers them gladly) or bring your own(enough space to put down safely). Our guests often enjoy a day in Dokkum (via the Dokkumer Ee is a beautiful cycling route). You can also take the boat to Ameland and cycling to the Oerd via the dunes you can enjoy beautiful nature. The start of the mudflats to Ameland is also 2 kilometers from this house but actually all mudflat trips are highly recommended and we are happy to advise you. The terp of the Takomst and the statues on the dike near Holwerd are shorter walking or cycling distances; so there is something for everyone. The seal center will be located in Lauwersoog from 2025 which makes a nice trip to eat a fish at Lauwersoog in the harbor or take a boat trip.
