The house is "off-grid" and sustainable; the sun gives us energy through solar panels; we collect rainwater for daily use (showering, washing, toilet). Drinking water we make available for free in the outdoor kitchen. The house is located in a quiet valley, where olive and almond trees alternate with native groves and pine trees. It is truly a place to unwind and recharge your batteries. We completed construction in 2024 on our Nature House which features 3 bedrooms, a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and seating areas. The largest room has an attached bathroom. The 2 other rooms use the cozy outdoor bathroom, where you can shower under the stars. 20 meters away is our swimming pool for a refreshing dip! For enthusiasts, we make available a meditation room (outside), with mats and meditation cushions. We also offer Rebalancing massages and Sound sessions, to help you relax even deeper in your body and mind.
Nature and surroundings
The hinterland of Castellon is beautifully green, empty and mountainous with beautiful old villages. From our Finca you can already start your walk through the hills. Our house is located 3 km from the old village Useras and a 5-minute walk from the long-distance GR33 route. This multi-day route, 65km long, runs from the city of Castellon (sea level) to the top of Mount Penyagolosa (1814m). Nearby are several National Parks with marked hiking and cycling routes: Desertes de las Palmes, Sierra d'Engarcerán and the Sierra d'Irta. If desired, we can facilitate your hiking tours with transportation for a proper fee. Wide beaches with cozy eateries are about 40 minutes by car (for example, Benicasim and Alcossebre). The hinterland also offers atmospheric old villages and towns, often with old castles and city walls, which are well worth visiting and enjoying a tasty lunch.
