This vacation home is ideal for people who are looking for a cozy home with a garden to unwind or get out and about with family or friends. Originally, the nature house was my home, my place to unwind, the place where I got an instant vacation feeling from day 1. Nowadays, it is the place where we like to retreat as a family. A place with a great atmosphere in beautiful surroundings that we would like to share with you.The house is a full-fledged family home, in which everything is present for a pleasant stay. The garden is fully fenced, minimum height 125cm. Given that it is already an older house, the layout is somewhat atypical. Only the 3 bedrooms are upstairs, bathroom and toilet are downstairs. The advantage is that the bathroom is very spacious. Between August 2026 and the end of 2026, the house is temporarily not for rent as there will be road works in the street.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in Kerniel, a small borough of Borgloon, situated at the top of a hill with a beautiful view of the valley of Coolen. From here, several hiking and cycling routes take you to the most beautiful locations and views.The cozy center of Borgloon is 2 km walk from the nature house and contains numerous attractions and delicious food and drink. In the spring Haspengouw is known for its enchanting blossom. From Kerniel you have easy access to the cities of Hasselt, Bilzen, Tongeren, Heers and Sint-Truiden. Ideal for a day trip or a visit to the Gallo-Roman Museum, Bokrijk, the syrup factory ... The list of fun activities and tips is endless.
