Our cottage is new and recently rented out. It is located near the sea and dunes, in a beautiful location in the middle of the natura2000 area De Abtskolk and De Putten, near Schoorl and Groet. We would like to share this special place with silence and peace seekers, bird watchers, hikers and nature lovers. Want to get away from it all, write a book or let your creativity flow again? Here you will come to rest and find yourself.As soon as you open the curtains, you can enjoy beautiful views and dramatic cloudscapes.The self-contained studio of about 40 m2 has its own entrance. The space has floor heating and has a fully equipped kitchen with electric stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. Our location is not suitable for children. Pets are not allowed.If it is not possible to book on the desired arrival date or length of stay, you can always send a message to inquire what is possible.
Nature and surroundings
The residence is located in the polder behind the Hondsbossche Zeewering. You can walk or bike to a quiet beach or if you like to a place with beach restaurants. The Schoorl Dunes and Het Zwanenwater nature reserve are easily accessible via beautiful bicycle routes. The nature house is located on the hiking route Dutch Coastal Path part 2. Bird watching spots: De Putten De Abtskolk (in the backyard). Here you can regularly see special birds, such as the Great Tern, Great Ringed Plover, Spoonbill, Goosander, Bluethroat, Black-necked Owl, Reed Warbler, Bearded Warbler, and occasionally the White-tailed Eagle! And much more.Day trips possible to Texel, Alkmaar (cheese market), artist village of Bergen, Broeker auction, Zuiderzee museum Enkhuizen, animal park Hoenderdaell in Anna Pauwlona.Supermarket also within cycling distance.
