The historic villa from 1900 is located on the edge of the idyllic village of Naggio, bordering the nature reserve Parco Val Sanagra. The three-storey building has a large garden with many exotic plants. has approx. 180 sqm of living space over 3 floors. It is completely symmetrical. The axis is the staircase, to the left and right of which are the 6 living rooms (3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms and a dining room). The small kitchen and the wing with the bathrooms were added later. In 2021, the ground floor and the two bathrooms were renovated, so you now have the charm of a historic building without having to forego the comforts of today. The house also has gas central heating and glazed historic fireplaces. There are two idyllic seating areas in the garden, one under the old olive tree and one under the wisteria pergola. There is also a barbecue and a fire bowl as well as a small summer kitchen.
Nature and surroundings
The medieval village of Naggio lies between Lake Como and Lake Lugano. Directly from the house you have a beautiful view of the famous lake center of Lake Como, if you walk 1000 meters you can enjoy the sunsets over Lake Lugano. It is a very sunny place, you have maximum sunshine all year round and in the hot months it is still a little cooler than directly on the lake and above all much quieter. You are in the middle of nature, which means you can hear wild boar, deer and badgers and in summer the bells of the cows. Directly from the house, you can go on wonderful hikes into the wild and romantic Val Sanagra, up the surrounding mountains or past pastures in the idyllic neighboring villages. Mountain bikers will find an Eldorado here, while leisurely cyclists will get their money's worth at the lakes. We know the area very well and have plenty of tips and information, which we will send you in advance.
