Located on a narrow oak planted road over which only farmers, neighbors and out-of-towners drive and agricultural traffic. No through roads nearby, it is still really quiet here (most of the time). The nature garden borders directly on bicycle/walking paths along the Berkel and the nature reserve that has been created on the banks of the river from the German border to the village of Rekken. The paths give access to the beautiful and quiet Achterhoekse coulisse landscape with many small and very quiet cycling and walking paths. Large nature reserves within cycling distance, Haaksberger Veen (4km), Lankheet/Assinkbos (4km), Buurser Zand (8km) etc. Reachable by public transport via line 199 (hourly service and 5 min. walk) from Haaksbergen and Eibergen. On the border with Germany a small supermarket with real brown country pub where you can also get a meal and a German restaurant, both walking along the Berkel (1700m) to reach.
