Le Sanglier is a secluded 2 to 10 person vacation home. Have a nice chat on the large lounge sofa in front of the wood stove while cooking in the modern kitchen. From the living room there is a passage to the sunny terrace and heated private outdoor pool (open April-Oct) It is here in the morning breakfast. As agreed, the croissants and baguettes hang at the door.In the summer months, life takes place mostly outside, walking, or in your own private pool to then rest on the outdoor lounge sofa or in the hammock.In the backyard is a shaded terrace in the woods with playground equipment for the little ones. There is plenty of room for everyone to exercise or take a break. Stay supple and in shape even during the vacations in your own gym or treat yourself to a wellness in your private sauna with chromo-therapy. Revival aromas are available. Even with a larger group, you will feel right at home here.
Nature and surroundings
Our house borders the Brenne Regional Natural Park, a paradise for migratory birds. With more than 2000 lakes it is home to about 2300 animal species and 1200 plant species. Not far from here is the photogenic village of Montmorillon on the little river Gartempe. It is climbing to walk to the cute French stores with books and trinkets. And don't forget to taste Montmorillon maccarons. There are a number of cozy restaurants to eat out in the evening. Nearby is La Trimouille, a small French village that is definitely worth checking out. There are beautiful castles in the area, and there is always a bric-a-brac market to visit. Every 29th of the month is one of France's largest farmers' markets in Les Hérolles. Is all this a little too quiet for you? You can rent a canoe or kayak in Lathus. In Poitiers is Europe's largest amusement park, Futuroscope and you'll find shopping, cafes, escaperooms or paintball opportunities.
