Charming Nature House, located on a beautiful and sunny corner island. The cottage has a 2 person bed, a 2 person (fold out) sofa bed and a large sofa bed. Basic price = 4 persons. Another tent can be placed by arrangement. Basic 'offgrid' facilities, but all necessary amenities (kitchenette with facilities, hot shower, drinking water) are available. A 7 pers. Whaly motorboat can be extra booked for € 90, - p.d. You will find a beautiful and on 3 sides free view over the lake and a beautiful sunrise and sunset. There is a (lockable) indoor terrace, a spacious lawn, a large jetty with swim ladder/loungers/picnic table and a sunken shallow underwater platform. Ideal for fishing and swimming in the exceptionally clean and clear water. The sheltered and cozy outdoor terrace features a wood-fired Hot tub with seating for 5, BBQ, fire basket and garden furniture. All in all a real island paradise where you can relax.
Nature and surroundings
The corner island is 12 minutes by boat from the mainland. The landlord will pick you up by boat and bring you back after your stay. Discover by boat the rich nature of the Vinkeveen lakes and the adjacent nature reserve 'de Botshol', where you can also make beautiful walks. To make trips you can rent a boat or use one or more (if available) of the 3 person Canadian canoes for free. At various places on the Vinkeveense plassen you will find terraces and restaurants. There is also a ring of extensive publicly accessible islands around the main lake with shallow water, white sand beaches and picnic areas. Some of these have facilities where (small) children can safely bathe, play (there is playground equipment) and catch fish and lobsters with a net. Landlords can inform you (in advance) about everything. You can also book a guided boat tour of the lakes from lessor.
