The Nature House was newly built in 2021, beautifully finished with lots of wood and feels spacious yet cozy. It can accommodate 6 to 8 people, but you can very well stay there by yourself or as a couple. Ideal for rest, enjoying the many birds in the garden and the surrounding nature. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs with 2 beds each (80x200) and downstairs 2 single bedsteads. There are two bathrooms, with two showers and a bathtub. Downstairs is a cozy sitting area with wood stove. There is a large dining table and in the kitchen you will find everything you need. In the pantry (handy if you come in with muddy walking shoes) are a washer and dryer. A camp bed and highchair are available. There is a large closet with (children's) books and games. There is good wifi with a large JBL box but no television. Behind the house is a spacious garden with a large terrace, a hot tub, a sand pit to play in and there are outdoor toys for children.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is situated on a large private plot on a small forest park. The area consists of woods, heath and fields, so typical Achterhoek scenery. Our park has no barrier or facilities, but behind us is Europarcs the Achterhoek. There you will find various facilities such as a small restaurant / lunch café, snack bar, golf course, camp shop, swimming pond, bike rental, petting zoo, etc. Lochem is 5 minutes away by car and has a beautiful old city center and several supermarkets. There are also all kinds of farm stores with regional products in the area. The surrounding villages such as Almen, Laren, Vorden, Joppe and Gorssel are also well worth a visit. The beautiful Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Deventer are 20 and 30 minutes away by car, respectively.
