Stylish cottage ideal for couples (with possibly 1 child in a travel cradle/camping crib) on our cozy farm. This cottage is the icing on the cake: we have put all our creativity and love into this and almost everything is hand and custom made. There is glass on all sides so you can enjoy the wide view. There is a beautiful handmade and fully equipped kitchen, a dining table in front of a dining table in front of a glass front, a comfortable double bed overlooking the orchard and TV you watch with a chromecast on a TV cabinet from grandmother's time. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and rain shower. There are terraces on both sides so you can sit in the sun all day overlooking the ancient orchard with its animals scurrying around and where in summer sometimes small fires are stoked and occasionally some tents or campers are. The entire cottage has underfloor heating so it is (especially in winter) always nice and warm.

Adjacent to our tall-stemmed fruit orchard, you'll enjoy the view of trees nearly two centuries old and the permaculture flower and vegetable garden. Out your window you can see chickens, sheep, goats and horses. Located in the West Frisian countryside, 3km from the IJsselmeer and 10km from Enkhuizen, Hoorn and Medemblik, our yard is home to horses, sheep, a cuddly cow, goats, chickens and cats who all love to be cuddled. Nearby is the IJsselmeer where you can swim, walk and cycle and visit the cozy voc towns of Enkhuizen, Hoorn and Medemblik. It is also a perfect base to explore North Holland, think Marken, Volendam, the Wadden Islands, the coast and the North Holland polders (Beemster, Schermer, etc) and of course Amsterdam.
