Nature house in Noyers-sur-Jabron

At the end of the Chemin de Jarjayes, whose curves take you into the heart of nature, you'll find the old farmhouse "Serre de Marie". Its two dwellings are set in 42 hectares of land. The gîte has a large, fully-equipped kitchen and a 70 m² living room with dining and relaxation area. Wood-fired heating makes for pleasant evenings. The living room and kitchen open onto a large covered terrace with panoramic views over the valley and the village of Noyers s/Jabron. One bedroom with en-suite shower room and toilet is on the first floor, and two bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms are on the first floor. Around the house is a growing garden where Pauline cultivates medicinal and aromatic plants. On request, she will be happy to provide you with information about them. Depending on the season, she also organizes activities such as lavender distillation. She invites you to attend if you wish.

The house is located in the middle of the beautiful Jabron valley between Provence and the Hautes Alpes. The Jabron river runs alongside the property. Noyers-sur-Jabron is a small village with a store selling local produce and, in season, a small market. For all your shopping needs, you can go to Sisteron. Here you can visit museums, old streets, andrônes, as well as Vauban's citadel and the lake. To the west is the village of Montbrun-les-Bains with its healing thermal baths, and the Jabron valley offers a wealth of wonderful walks and mountain bike rides. Maps are available on request. You can also stay around the house, cuddling the old mare, watching the mule work, or relaxing with a book on the terrace.
