Our country inn has been owned by the Herr family for 7 generations since 1835. Today we present you a modern house, with well-kept kitchen, which is known far beyond the borders of the beautiful Elz valley. We have lovingly furnished vacation apartments and guest rooms in various categories, all with a covered terrace or south-facing balcony or loggia. Of course, we also offer barrier-free rooms. The newest guest rooms (completion July 2023) are with air conditioning. You can enjoy a home-baked piece of cake and a cup of hot drink, as well as a cold drink and a hearty snack in our beautiful, idyllically situated beer garden in the warm season. You can also book a breakfast buffet on request at a price of €15 per person/day. The apartment has satellite TV, safe, kitchen with dishwasher, shower/WC, telephone, south-facing balcony with a wonderful view and a further balcony and terrace.

Relax with the deep effect of our soothing infrared cabin, the bio sauna or the Finnish sauna. Whether you want to take a break during your hike, bike or motorcycle tour or stay with us for several days in the beautiful Black Forest - we will provide you with everything you need. The quiet, flowing Frischnaubächlein stream runs past the house. You are welcome to use the bike or hiking trail along the Frischnaubächlein to the town of Elzach, which is approx. 3 km away. A 3-D archery course with 28 stations starts right after the house.
