The house is located in the East Cantons in the Belgian Ardennes and perfect for a stay with children, is attached to a second house; has recently been renovated and specially equipped for wheelchair users. In addition to excellent insulation, there is a well-functioning ventilation system that ensures a healthy indoor climate. We also paid great attention to sustainable materials when furnishing the house. The house has 5 spacious bedrooms for 12 people, 3 bathrooms of which 1 with whirlpool bath. The cozy living room has a pellet fireplace and connects to the open kitchen. This is fully equipped to enjoy cooking together. The American fridge has an ice machine and chilled water; there is an oven and and microwave, dishwasher, kettle and coffee machine. The large playground with trampoline, slide, petanque field, cable car, go-karts... offers entertainment for young and old. Also the games room with snooker, billiards, darts or table tennis table invite to amusement.
Nature and surroundings
The house is located idyllically, in the middle of nature, between meadows and forests: an excellent location to enjoy the peace and relax. From here you can go directly for hiking and cycling tours. At 2 km is the Ravel: this is an old railroad bed which has been converted for cycling and hiking. Amel is located in the Belgian Eifel where nature is still pure. Besides nature, culture is very close with beautiful villages and towns, such as Malmedy (15km) with museums and cozy terraces, Limbourg (20km) with its historic village center, Monschau (D) (25km) with its historic Altstadt, Stavelot with its abbey and car museum. Locally brewed Belgian beers can be tasted at the Peak brewery in Botrange (17km) or Bellevaux (8km). In Hellental (D) at 30 km is a bird of prey park with daily shows. Or you can enjoy a delicious snack or drink on your terrace while the kids have fun in the playground. We will be happy to help you plan a wonderful stay.
