Our vacation apartment offers peace, relaxation and nature in the Schondratal. Well-signposted hiking and cycling trails invite you to enjoy an active vacation. The apartment extends over two floors of a detached house and has a covered terrace for exclusive use. Facilities: 1 bedroom with workplace (140x200 cm bed) 1 bedroom with children's bed and dining area (140x200 cm bed) 1 small kitchen 1 bathroom (new 2020) with shower, toilet with washlet function and washing machine 1 attic studio with TV, sofa bed (165x200 cm) Covered terrace with seating and lounging facilities Please note the bed size! Although the apartment is advertised for 3 people, more people can be accommodated with the bed size. Guests have sole use of all rooms. Arrival and departure times are flexible by arrangement. At the moment, mobile phone reception in Heiligkreuz is still limited and communication must be via WLAN. No public transport available!

As already mentioned, we live very close to nature in the Schondratal and the small river Schondra meanders through the village In the neighboring village of Völkersleier (3 km) you will find a small grocery store. In the neighbouring village of Detter (6 km) there is a "Naturland" farm store with self-service, which is also open at weekends from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The "Landgraf", the nearest restaurant, is in Wartmannsroth (5 km). Wartmannsroth has another special feature: with a total of 82 distilleries, it has the highest density of distilleries in Bavaria. Under this link you will find information: www.brennerweg.de. Hammelburg (15 km) the oldest wine town in Franconia and Bad Brückenau (15 km) offer all shopping facilities. Bad Kissingen, UNESCO World Heritage City is 30 km away and offers you with the "KISSALIS" a wonderful thermal bath. The Rhön, the "land of open spaces" is almost on the doorstep and offers many opportunities for nature lovers.
