On the IJsselmeerdijk between Edam and Volendam you will find our beautiful, sustainable farmhouse. This houses a brand new 1 room apartment (33m2) overlooking the dike, lock and our own meadows. Enjoy this modern, ground floor space with your own parking space and private entrance. Make use of your own bathroom, complete kitchen, dining area, television, internet and terrace. The ideal place for peace seekers and as a starting point for hiking, cycling and exploring the area. Included are made beds, towels, toiletries, coffee & tea and final cleaning.
Nature and surroundings
Walk to "the dike" in Volendam with its many restaurants, visit cozy Edam with its cheese market in the summer, take the boat to the island of Marken, or the bus to Amsterdam. Visit a cheese farm, a mill, museum or take a day trip to the beach. There is a lot to see and do in the vicinity. Behind the dike there is also a swimming beach to cool off on hot days.
