Our archtect loft, is based on an over 100 years old ruins. And built around an existing Cipreste. completed July 2024.The loft is in a private nature reserve of over 10 acres. approximately 75 M2 in size, offers on the open floor the bedroom with a workspace. A special living room with view sofa and an open kitchen. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The north facade is fully double glazed and offers a view of the mountainous landscape of Monchique. Casa Cipreste is autark, which means its own power supply, water from the source, and own wastewater treatment. The underfloor heating ensures that even on cooler days it is comfortable in the casa. The acoustics is due to the high rooms of almost 5 meters good an electric piano belongs to the interior. The villa has 3 terraces and the privacy is great.The sauna can be used on request for a small fee.The owners of the Arc are both architects and enjoy nature.
Nature and surroundings
Casa Cipreste is less than 15 minutes by car from several beaches and sea, Portimao is about 20 minutes by car. The tidal landscape at Portimao is worth a visit Walking can be done in several places, including the cliffs along the sea or beach and in the mountains at Monchique, and of course on private property. Faro is on the A22 (toll road) about 30 minutes. Since 2022 the fauna is increasing noticeably with as recent highlight an owl in the old water well. A beekeeper has on our property his hives are the honey is of good quality and for sale with us. Since summer 2024 we generously harvest our vegetable beds, these unsprayed seasonal delicacies are also for sale at cost price.
