Our Nature House is located on the beautiful Grevelingen Lake where nature & peace seekers feel at home. Looking over a nature reserve full of orchids called the Karreveld can be done from your own terrace! The Nature House is equipped with a modern new kitchen with a dishwasher. There are 3 bedrooms, a spacious living room and a bathroom with shower and toilet. Rest space & nature is the motto of the owners where they have managed this vacation home for over 20 years. Over the years much attention has been paid to nature and biodiversity this in combination with the adjacent quiet nature campsite.
Nature and surroundings
Our nature house is on the edge of Camping Kijkuit, located just over the dike of the Grevelingenmeer. You walk right up the stairs to the lake and can immediately enjoy the view over the water.Zonnemaire is located on the island of Schouwen Duiveland. The island is located between Lake Grevelingen and National Park Oosterschelde. Both the Oosterschelde and Grevelingenmeer offer a beautiful underwater world. Snorkeling and diving are therefore popular here, as are other water sports such as surfing and sailing. With a little luck, you'll come across seals (Grevelingenmeer and Oosterschelde) or porpoises (Oosterschelde), but cycling and hiking are also popular in our area. There are cycling and hiking trails with the junction route system. On the west point of the island you can follow beautiful hiking trails and see deer in Boswachterij Westerschouwen. The island is rich in museums and historic towns such as Zierikzee and Brouwershaven.
