Our Nature house in Saturnia, Fontenuova, is in the heart of Medieval Maremma, within the Albegna National Park of Southern Tuscany. The park is recognised by the EU as an area of outstanding natural beauty. Fontenuova is a 30-hectare organic farm, with its private olive grove, vineyard and woods. It’s located on a hillside, bordered by the river Albegna and the ancient Roman road via Clodia. This road leads down to the farm from one of the original Roman gateways of Saturnia. Our Nature house is close to the woods, set apart from the rest of the accommodations Il Borghetto (The Hamlet) with a tranquil spacious GREEN GARDEN and SHADED TERRACES, ACCOMODATION: ONE DOUBLE ROOM, ONE BEDROOM WITH 2 BEDS, A LIVING AREA WITH SOFA BED, AN EQUIPPED KITCHEN AND 2 BATHROOMS WITH SHOWER. THERE ALSO AN OVEN, A DISHWASHER AND A WASHING MACHINE, private barbecue.

Fontenuova, which overlooks a unique patchwork of rolling hills and luscious countryside, is just a 600m walk from the hilltop village of Saturnia. Renown for its thermal open air waterfall and baths (Terme di Saturnia), this historic town was originally settled by the Etruscans and then the Romans. Today, the beautiful central piazza offers a combination of wonderful restaurants, shops, delicatessens, cafes.
