If you need some exercise, make use of our walking meadow or, in bad weather, our hayloft with sports and games facilities. We also have a large cozy common room and a separate greenhouse/orangery where you are welcome. Guided retreat possible.

Nature and surroundings

The farmhouse is located at the end of a cul-de-sac. Here it gets really quiet. All around free view over the meadows. The permanent residents there are the cows and sheep, but over the land also hares and deer pass by and in the sky a huge variety of birds pass by. On the horizon you can see the village of Lollum with its two characteristic church towers. 5 km away you will find the usual supermarkets, in the towns and pretty little villages a variety of stores, restaurants and terraces. Friesland with its many lakes, cozy harbors and beautiful nature reserves offers plenty of opportunities to roam. Strolling around on our own property is already a detour in itself, but also outside you can enjoy beautiful cycling and walking. Through several meadows are hiking trails with information cards. And in our area you will meet few people, so there is plenty of time and space for yourself and/or each other.
