At an altitude of 610m, a stone's throw from "Baraque de Fraiture" and on the edge of the vast nature reserve of "La Fagne de Bihain", a former farm dating from 1795 has been transformed into two cozy authentic Ardennes gîtes, one (1 to 6 people) in the former living quarters of the farm and the other (2 to 7 people) in the old cowshed. Both are equipped with every comfort and have a beautiful terrace opening onto a large communal garden. In our gîtes you will be immersed in the atmosphere of the old Ardennes farmhouse where tranquility and conviviality are paramount. A soft music and a good glass of wine or local beer by the crackling fire of the fireplace ... it's like "living as God in the Ardennes". Petites-Tailles is a hamlet of Vielsalm, 10 minutes from Houffalize, 10 minutes from Achouffe, 15 minutes from La Roche, 20 minutes from Bastogne and 30 minutes from Durbuy.
Nature and surroundings
We have a large garden where you can enjoy the peace, the beautiful views or a game of "jeu de boules" on our petanque court or relax in our wood-fired barrel sauna overlooking the nature reserve. You can also relax in our Jacuzzi (1 hour use included per stay). Of course, a game of darts is also possible in our common game room. In the course of December 2024 supplemented by a pinball and pool table. The garden is fully fenced, so dogs can romp safely. Our motto: "La Fagne Fleurie... where man and beast revive in the active tranquility of nature " In Petites-Tailles two beautiful walks depart, including the beautiful The Life du Sacrawé. Also at Baraque de Fraiture several beautiful walks depart. At the reception we have for our guests the hiking maps of Vielsalm and Houffalize.
