In the middle of Schiermonnikoog's polder, surrounded by a large garden, lies this nature house. This vacation home used to be a farm worker's house, belonging to the nearby farm. It has been converted into an attractive and cozy five-person vacation home, in a unique location on the beautiful island of Schiermonnikoog. The homely sitting room offers plenty of space for relaxation. The dining area lends itself perfectly to games and good meals. The kitchen is fully facilitated. And the box springs in the bedrooms ensure that the vacation mode can really be switched on. Add to that the Schierse "touch" in the details and you will feel like you are away from it all.
Nature and surroundings
In the cottage you will have sun in the garden from early morning until late in the evening. Under the trees you can sit in the shade. The cottage overlooks the Schiermonnikoog polder, where in spring and summer the meadows are teeming with meadow birds, hares and wild flowers. Schiermonnikoog has been allowed to call itself a National Park since 1989. And with good reason! Because the diversity of nature on the island is simply breathtaking. The Nature House is less than five minutes cycling distance from the dike, salt marshes, forests and dunes. The wide North Sea beach can be reached in just under ten minutes. Just like the authentic, cozy village of Schiermonnikoog. You read it well; the distances on our beautiful island are small.
