When you walk into this cozy Finnish log cabin it is like coming home. The living room has a spacious corner sofa where you can crawl away with a book and a blanket. There is also a large dining table with a sofa and some chairs where you can have breakfast or play endless games that we have ready for you (including 30 seconds). The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, a dishwasher, (bean/filter) coffee maker and an induction stove. In the cottage there is a washing machine and a dryer that can be used. Upstairs are two bedrooms, the large bedroom has a lovely large bed. The smaller room has two single beds that you can easily slide together. The bathroom has a shower cubicle (without steps) a bathtub and toilet! And then the garden; an oasis of peace. In the morning the birds whistle their highest song. The garden has a dining table with fine chairs, a bench & bbq!
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located on a small vacation park, against a forest edge in the nature reserve 't Bönnink. Beautiful walks and cycling tours in the countryside are possible, get to know the best cycling area of the Netherlands (the Achterhoek). The nature house is less than 500 meters from the Hilgelo Lake. The outlying area of Winterswijk is one of the most valuable areas in the Netherlands and has the predicate National Landscape Winterswijk. Winterswijk has, among other things, the Steengroeve, vineyard, farm terraces, Mondrian Museum, a theater, a fantastic shopping center with a large market twice a week (Wednesday and Saturday). Restaurants and terraces are plentiful. It is a nice place where you can completely unwind but the fun and bustle to seek is a short distance away.
